General Information
Otrivin Menthol Nasal Spray combines the instant freshness of menthol with the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride. Xylometazoline hydrochloride helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing nasal congestion.
Otrivin Menthol Nasal Spray is a nasal decongestant that provides fast* relief of a blocked or runny nose caused by cold, flu, sinusitis, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis.* Eccles, R. et al. 2008. Otrivin Menthol Nasal Spray can be used by Adults and Children over 12 years of age, who are suffering from nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Otrivin Junior is available for children aged 6-11 years.

- If under 12 years.
- If you are allergic to Xylometazoline or any other ingredients of this medicine.
- After recent operations through the nose or mouth. .

· If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice

· Each pack should be used by only one person, for reasons of hygiene
· Brief stinging sensation or sneezing may occur
· Excessive use may damage lining of nose
· If irritation occurs or if you have signs of allergy, discontinue use
· Do not use in or around the eyes."

Directions
"For Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 spray per nostril. Use 2 -3 times daily, as needed. Do not exceed 3 applications in each nostril daily. Do not use more often than every 8-10 hours. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
1. Before first use, remove protective cap and press applicator until an even spray is produced
2. You may need to repeat this if you have not used the spray for longer than 6 days. Do not cut the nozzle
3. Blow nose gently to clear
4. Insert nozzle into nostril and press applicator firmly once while sniffing deeply
5. Withdraw nozzle and release applicator
6. Repeat in other nostril
7. Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap"
